The 2027 Connecticut State Hoop Shoot is scheduled for January 23, 2027 at the Mahoney Recreation Center in Manchester. Registration is scheduled to open at 9:00 AM.
The 2027 National Finals weekend is scheduled for April 15–18, 2027 in Chicago, with the national contest on April 17 at Wintrust Arena.
Official Elks rules govern every level of the competition. Contestants should arrive ready at their designated shooting time and wear gym shoes. Warm-up time is provided, and contestants must follow the shooting and foul-line rules for their age division.
The Hoop Shoot gives young people an opportunity to challenge themselves in a positive environment. Every contestant steps to the line on their own, learns to handle pressure, and discovers the value of practice, perseverance and good sportsmanship.
